This part of town runs on schedules that do not bend. Base hours, airport shifts, early starts out of the yards along Valencia and Irvington. Nobody here has half a day to spend in a waiting room, so we bring the glass to the driveway or the lot and work around the clock you are actually on.
Valencia, Irvington and the stretch of Palo Verde that feeds the airport carry a steady volume of commercial traffic, and commercial traffic sheds. Loaded flatbeds, dump trucks running between yards, and delivery vehicles working the industrial parks all put material on the surface that lighter traffic never would. Combine that with roads built for load rather than comfort, and you get a damage profile that leans harder toward cracks than chips.
East of here the pattern shifts. Houghton, Kolb and the newer stretches out past Pantano carry long stretches at genuine speed with fewer lights, so a strike out there arrives with more energy behind it. Golf Links and 22nd sit in the middle, busy arterials with the usual patched surfaces and stop start spacing.
The thing that makes this part of town distinctive is not the roads though, it is the schedules. A large share of the people we serve here work fixed shifts at the base, the airport, the hospitals or the industrial parks, and a windshield appointment that requires being somewhere between nine and five is not a real option. Almost everything we do out here is fitted either at a home before or after a shift, or in an employee lot while the vehicle sits anyway.
The work is identical to what a shop would do in a bay. The only difference is that the bay comes to you and your day stays intact.
Twenty minutes, done while the car sits in a lot. On most Arizona policies carrying a glass waiver it costs the driver nothing at all, which makes it the easiest decision on this page.
Right glass for the exact trim, bond line prepared properly, and a specific safe drive away time so you know whether the car is ready before your shift ends.
A smashed side window makes a car unsafe to leave anywhere. Side glass is usually same day, and we clear the cabin thoroughly rather than leaving fragments in the seat rails.
Service vans and crew trucks out of the yards along Valencia and Irvington. Batched visits, one point of contact, consolidated billing, and no vehicle off the road longer than it has to be.
Early morning and late afternoon windows are the two we schedule most on this side of town, for obvious reasons. Weekend appointments are available as well.
We confirm the correct part, check your glass coverage, and find a window that lands either side of the hours you cannot move.
Both work. A lot is often easier, since the vehicle is stationary for a known block of time and nobody needs to be standing next to it.
Covers down, glass out, frame cleaned and primed, new panel set. We only need to be able to reach you by phone.
You are told exactly when the vehicle is safe to drive, so you know whether it is ready at the end of a shift or needs another hour.
A broken side window is the one call where what you do in the first hour matters. Tempered glass cannot be repaired, only replaced, so the job is straightforward. Everything else around it is where people go wrong.
We get a lot of these calls from lots around the airport and the shopping centres on this side of town. The work itself is quick. What people underestimate is how long fragments keep turning up if the cabin is not cleared properly the first time.
Dealer Auto Glass TucsonWe work employee and public lots regularly. Access rules vary by facility, so tell us which one when you book and we will sort out whether we meet you at a gate or in a public lot nearby. It is a routine part of the day for us.
Early mornings and late afternoons are our two most common windows out here for exactly that reason, and weekend appointments are available. Tell us the hours that do not work and we will schedule around them.
You will not. A replacement is a couple of hours including cure time, done wherever the truck parks. If you run several vehicles, fleet service batches them so you are never short more than one at a time.
Out past Houghton and down through Drexel Heights and Littletown. Further out toward Rita Ranch and Corona de Tucson is covered on our Vail and Rita Ranch page, and south along I-19 there is Sahuarita and Green Valley.
A comprehensive glass claim is not an at fault claim, and most carriers do not surcharge for one. Carriers differ, so we verify your coverage and tell you what the job costs you before it is booked. There is a fuller explanation in our Arizona glass coverage guide.
Home, employee lot or yard. Tell us the hours you cannot move and we will put a technician at the vehicle around them, with the price agreed before anyone sets off.
